Florida pallet and wood waste rules
In Florida, owners can record a mark or brand for their pallets with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Holding a pallet bearing a recorded mark without the owner's written authority is a first-degree misdemeanor, and possession alone is prima facie evidence of the violation (Fla. Stat. § 506.24).
